I'm on the hunt...for hobbies.

Hello all! It's been a while so I thought an update post would be in order. I just finished my last semester of graduate school! As I've been telling everyone, it was definitely an anti-climatic finish. My three classes did not have any final projects or big papers -- everything was manageable. Now I have a week off where I'll sleep in a bit, finish up my job at the residence hall libraries, and get ready to graduate.

I'm back and man, has April come roaring in. I can't believe that I have under a month of graduate school yet. #TheBigSearch is getting bigger, but I'm optimistic that things could go really well really soon. Yet another year when April is a month of a big decisions.
It's week two after Spring Break and I finally feel like I'm back. Spring Break is great in many ways (lots of sleep, no formal classwork due, etc) but I always feel it takes a while to catch back up and get into the groove you've established since the start of the spring semester.

About a week ago, an amazing program happened in one of the libraries I supervise. This program also won the award (in my books) for largest collaboration. I had 10 resident assistants (RAs) helping to plan and run the program (remember, these are undergrads). Wow. Since I'm pretty proud, I figured I would share this story with you.

Classes have started and let me tell you, I'm ready.
Granted, I don't have any classes on Tuesdays but that is besides the point!
2016 is going well. Got some crock pot action going on (a crock pot luck to be exact).
Plus I'm all organized...(see picture). Finally, all those important articles I've read have a spot to call home (not in a messy pile somewhere in my apartment). And I even have a whole folder for articles to read. I'm on top of it, I promise.
On deck this spring are three classes and clarinet lessons. Then...I graduate. Holy man, it feels like just the other day I was writing about muffins on my undergrad blog.
Lots has happened since then.
So huzzah, let's get this semester rolling. I hope to write more posts about library science things (weeding, collection development, supervising, programming, etc) while keeping you up to date on my life and my hyperlink obsession (it's not too bad...yet).
And with that, I'll leave you with a picture of me and two #rad gals I'm lucky to call some of my closest friends.
