It's Friday and while there's no snow on the ground, there are for sure clouds in the sky covering up our bright sun! It's been a crazy week being back in Illinois and going to school; I think I needed about a week to get back into the swing of things.

Good news -- I got a domain and this website is officially launched! I made the plunge and took the next step forward. It feels good and definitely worth the late nights this week crafting "my brand" and putting the website together. I figure it will change over time, but this is a good starting spot.
I'm headed home tonight so I can watch the semi-finals of my high school boys' basketball team. Coming from a small town means stuff like this is HUGE (aka the whole town shows up). We also haven't made it to State since 1941, so needless to say, we are long overdue. Then on Saturday, I'm off to NYC for a Spring Break trip. Cannot wait to get back to the big city.

Tuesdays are normally crazy for me this semester. Two classes, busy from 9 AM until 4 PM. Both classes are excellent, but require a lot of brain power and active discussion. Today however, was even a little more busy than usual.

Maybe the title is misleading. I've blogged plenty of times before. On all sorts of platforms about all sorts of different things. Recently I've had the nagging feeling that I need to "get my professional life together." Aka update my resume, write a few cover letters, and finally figure out a darn e-Portfolio. With life moving onto the web (or so it seems), e-Portfolios are a big buzzword. A digital place to show off, to pull all the things you've done over the years into one spot. I've had dozens of e-Portfolios before but could never find a sustainable platform or the motivation to keep it going.
