Hello! I'm a community-driven, student-focused, librarian who is the Head of Education & Outreach Services at Northern Kentucky University. In this role, I lead a team to develop and support our students. We teach, we conduct outreach, and we teach credit-bearing courses in our Library Informatics program.

Regardless of my role, my work life consists of spending a lot of time trying to understand the experiences of our students, champion the work they do outside the classroom, and find ways to leverage their voices and experiences with campus stakeholders. I also am part of the Editorial Team for LibParlor, a blog focused on demystifying the research process for LIS researchers.

Beyond being a librarian, I’ve got lots of hobbies to keep me busy. I play the clarinet, am taking improv classes, and just started to learn how to sew. I also like to bike, drink coffee, read memoirs, embroider, and listen to podcasts. Take a look around my website to learn more about me and the work I do!
